Kevin O’Brien of Havertown was accused of stealing a breakfast sandwich from a Wawa store, when a brawl broke out which damaged the Brookhaven Wawa and landed a parolee back in jail.
According to officials O’Brien tried to steal seven dollars worth of hash browns and a breakfast sandwich when a plain-clothes Brookhaven police officer caught him in the act and tried to stop the robbery. O’Brien was seen stuffing two packets of hash browns and two breakfast sandwiches into his coat pocket. He has charged with robbery and aggravated assault.
