50 Cent and Oprah have put their differences aside to do a sit-down interview for the multimedia moguls’ network “OWN.” During the candid dialogue, 50 revealed why he named his pooch after O.

“At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn’t even know me,” said 50, real name Curtis Jackson. “I gave it to the dog ’cause I was excited about the dog at the time.”

50 also has a cat named after Oprah’s best friend Gayle!
