Aaliyah Album To Be Released By Year’s End?

The rumor mill has been swirling all week about  a new Aaliyah album, to be produced by Drake. End of the last week Drake and Blackground Records released “Enough Said,” produced by Noah “40″ Shebib, and featuring Drake. Some Aaliyah fans were upset about Timbaland and Missy not being a part of the song, but the album has been confirmed and both Timbaland and Missy will be a part of the project. According to Billboard an album is in fact in the works. Using 16 unreleased songs and “fragments” from Aaliyah’s archive, Blackground hopes to release the LP by year’s end, enlisting “contemporary artists” to color the project and help repackage her vocals.
