Amidst talk of a much-anticipated comeback, comedian Dave Chappelle has once again been feeling the heat for his strange antics. No, he’s not running off to Africa again, but he did head right off the stage at a Miami charity event, which he performed.

Chappelle, who has recently struck comedic chords on the NYC stand-up scene, was slated to perform an hour-long set during a fundraising event for Alonzo Mourning, but, according to reports, he only managed to muster up a single, solitary joke.

CNN reporter Roland S. Martin tweeted about the performance, describing it as “bizarre” and said a rowdy audience member got under Dave’s skin when she yelled, “Can you tell a joke so we can enjoy ourselves?” The incessant hecklers apparently bothered Chappelle to the point where he eventually gave up on his routine, and resorted to sighing loudly and repeatedly checking his text messages.

Chappelle apologized for his “bad attitude” the following night, so we can forgive him. We’re just hoping this setback doesn’t send him back into hiding, because we’re still gunning for a Rick-James-and-friends revival in the near future.

We have an African-American president, so why not an African-American Spider-Man, too?

Revealed in Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Fallout Issue 4, out Wednesday, the new Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe is a half-black, half-Hispanic teen named Miles Morales. He takes over the gig held by Peter Parker, who was killed in Ultimate Spider-Man Issue 160 in June.

In his first appearance, he simply breaks up a fight. But readers will learn the true origin of Morales and how he became the new Spider-Man when Ultimate Spider-Man relaunches in September with a new No. 1 issue.

“The theme is the same: With great power comes great responsibility,” says writer Brian Michael Bendis. “He’s going to learn that. Then he has to figure out what that means.”

PHILADELPHIA — Hoping to revive his career, Vince Young jumped at a chance to play for Andy Reid and learn from Michael Vick.

Vick sat out two full seasons while serving a prison sentence and was shunned by the rest of the league when he returned. But the Philadelphia Eagles gave Vick a second chance, and Reid and his coaching staff turned the dynamic quarterback into an MVP candidate and Pro Bowl starter.

Can they do the same for Young?

The two-time Pro Bowl pick and former No. 3 overall draft choice is counting on it. One day after he was released by Tennessee, Young signed a one-year deal to be Vick’s backup.

“Andy Reid, the respect that I have for him,” Young said Saturday when asked what attracted him to Philadelphia. “I met him a long time ago. Some things stand out about him. He’s respected across the league as well as how players talk about him and have his respect as well

It’s being reported that J-Lo is now rekindling her highly publicized relationship with rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

According to BET, anonymous sources from both camps seem to be confirming reports. Diddy’s source tells BET that Jennifer is “the love of his life” and he’s anticipating a union with his “fantasy girl.” A source on Jen’s side says “Puff wouldn’t be my first choice for her, but then again he was always very supportive of her sex symbol image and never got mad when she wore sexy clothes. He actually encouraged it.”

In case you’re not familiar with this love story, the two had the grand celebrity romance, which unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you’re asking) ended soon after the 1999 shooting at Club New York that left Diddy on trial for weapons charges. Although both Diddy and Jen came out the situation free of charges, the incident left a dent on the relationship that was never repaired… until now.

According to a number of girls who work there, Chris blew about $5,000 . . . all on the same girl. A popular dancer named DIAMOND. According to one girl, Chris got consistent dances from her .. . for nearly two hours.
