CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

“The $5K at 5pm with Q Deezy Cash contest” (“Contest”) will begin on Monday, October 17, 2011 and end on Friday, November 11, 2011 (“Contest Period”).  Contest participants must listen to announcements about the Contest at different times throughout the day on HOT 107.9.  On-air winners will be instantly qualified for a chance to win the $5K at 5pm on Fridays.  Qualifying winners will be asked to tune into Q Deezy’s show at 5pm on the Friday of the week they won a qualifying prize and listen for their name to be announced.  If their name is announced, the qualifying winner will have seven (7) minutes to call in and claim the prize of $5,000.00.  If the qualifier’s name is announced and they do not call in within seven (7) minutes, then Q Deezy will ask all eligible listeners to contact the station (at a designated time) and be the correct caller for a chance to win the $5K.  Q Deezy will award one winner the $5K each Friday during the Contest Period.

The Contest will be conducted six (6) times per day at various times between the hours of 10am – 11pm.

HOW TO ENTER:

Listeners of WPHI-FM who are legal residents of the U.S. residing within the Philadelphia Tri State (Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware) area and are eighteen (18) years of age or older will be able to take part in this Contest. To participate in the Contest, listeners must do the following:

1. During the Contest Period, listen to Hot 107.9 between the hours of 10am and 11pm weekdays (Monday through Friday).

1. When the cue to call in is made by a Hot 107.9 on air personality, listeners must call 855-575-1079.  WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Contest participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts to participate in this Contest.

1. The contestant that becomes the 107th caller after the solicitation for callers has been made will win the designated qualifying prize and instantly qualify for a chance to win the $5K at 5pm with Q Deezy.

1. Each Friday during the Contest Period, the name of a qualifying contestant will be announced on the air.  If the qualifying contestant contacts the station at the designated phone number within seven (7) minutes of their name being announced, they will be awarded Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000).   If they do not call in within seven (7) minutes then the phone lines will be opened up to all eligible listeners to contact the station and become the correct caller.

1. The qualifying prizes will be distributed by the radio station and the winner will have 30 days to claim their qualifying prize.

1. The winners of the $5,000.00 cash prize must complete the necessary paperwork to have a check processed for the dollar amount won.  Winners will be notified when their prize checks are ready to be picked up at the offices of the radio station.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

1. The Contest is open only to listeners of WPHI-FM who are legal residents of the United States residing in the Philadelphia Tri State (Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware), and are 18 years of age or older at the time of Contest registration, unless otherwise specified.

1. Employees of WPHI-FM, Radio One, Inc., its advertisers, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertisers, general sponsors, promotional partners, competitors, members of the immediate families (defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, or grandparent), and members of the households (whether related or not) of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this Contest.

1. Only one person per family or household (whether related or not) may win in any promotion from WPHI-FM during any thirty (30) day period.

1. Persons who have won a prize in another contest or promotion of any kind from WPHI‑FM within the thirty-day (30) period immediately preceding the start date of this Contest are not eligible to participate.

1. Contestants agree to abide with any applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.

PRIZES:

1. Prize packages will include the following:

• Weekly qualifying prizes may include: cash, merchandise, or event tickets (as determined by the Station).
• The winners of the Five Thousand Dollar ($5,000.00) cash prize will be awarded a check.

1. Winner must bring valid I.D. with proof of age (i.e. driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued photo I.D.) to claim prize.

1. Winners have thirty (30) days to claim their prize from the offices of WPHI-Fm located at 1000 River Road, Conshohocken PA 19428. After 30 days, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.

1. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by WPHI-FM management and/or the sponsor in its sole discretion.

1. All Contest winners must sign and date official WPHI-FM release and waiver forms as requested. Failure to do so will result in the winner’s forfeiture of the prize.

1. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by WPHI-FM. Each winner or selected entrant will be notified by email, mail and/or phone within thirty (30) days after being selected (e.g., date of drawing). Each winner or selected entrant will then have thirty (30) days to respond with their information. If the winner or selected entrant is unable to be contacted within thirty (30) days after being selected (e.g. drawing date), is ineligible, fails to claim a prize or fails to return completed and executed release forms and affidavits, if applicable and as required by WPHI-FM, or if the prize notification or prize is returned undeliverable, that prize will be forfeited and if time permits, at the discretion of the contest sponsor / and or contest administrator, an alternate entrant will be selected as the winner by random drawing from among the remaining entries.

1. Winners will be instructed to come to the offices of WPHI-FM, located at 1000 River Road Suite 400 Conshohocken, PA 19428.  Winners must provide valid identification (i.e. via driver’s license, passport or other government-issued photo I.D. and Social Security Number to claim their prize.

1. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible contestants participating during the Contest Period.

By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that WPHI-FM and Radio One, Inc. have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

1. Any information collected by registering to enter the Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Official Contest Rules.

1. So long as no participant is materially adversely affected, WPHI-FM reserves the right to make changes in the Contest rules, which will become effective upon being announced on the air and / or posted online.

WPHI-FM, Radio One, Inc., participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for the inability of any contestant to complete or continue a phone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of calls. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries, and may subject that entrant to disqualification. In addition, WPHI-FM, Radio One, Inc., participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mutilated, illegible or incomplete contest entries.

WPHI-FM, Radio One, Inc., its subsidiaries, its affiliates, participating sponsors and promotional partners will not assume any responsibility for any changes in the execution of the Contest, including; cancellation of the Contest as a result of the occurrence of events not within the control of WPHI-FM, Radio One, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, participating sponsors, promotional partners and other radio stations, such as acts of God, strikes, terrorists acts or criminal acts of third parties. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, WPHI-FM and Radio One, Inc. reserve the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney’s fees) from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.

Copies of Contest rules may also be made available during on-site / in-person remote events.
