I have a new found respect for supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. Like most, I thought she was just a pretty face who made appearances at her husband’s silly little American Football games. As it would turn out, however, not only was she paying attention but she rides for her man.

Giselle is facing criticism for her response to taunting from Giants fans, but I couldn’t care less what critics have to say, 100 times out of 100 this should be a WIFE’S response!. See below:

For those who aren’t sports fanatics, the reason they tune into the Super Bowl is for the commercials. The ads were a little weak this year, which made it easy to pick favorites. The Urban Daily decided to highlight five of the best commercials of the 2012 Super Bowl. Sorry, ladies, David Beckham’s H&M ad did not make this list. I feel like I need to throw a “pause” somewhere in here for even mentioning it.

While performing with Madonna during the half time show, M.I.A appeared to flip the bird to millions of viewers during last night’s Super Bowl half time show. With one foot up a podium, M.I.A rapped: ‘I don’t give a s***’ and gave the finger during the trio’s live performance of Madonna’s new song, “Give Me All Your Luvin.”

While it seems all eyes were on Madonna aka the “crypt keeper with pom poms” for a scandalous moment, the broadcasters were caught slightly off guard by M.I.A and scrambled to obscure the gesture in time.

Besides bring a Grammy winning R&B superstar, John Legend is a huge sports fan. He made an appearance on First Take where he sang a parody of his signature ballad, “Ordinary People.” Legend changed the lyrics to reference Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith’s constant debates about Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. John Legend basically said everything sports fans were thinking. Yes, Tebow’s wins come out of nowhere, but we don’t want to hear about that on every show. There are other players, like the ones who made it to the Super Bowl.

New York– Thousands of shirts are printed prior to the Super Bowl each year, declaring the contenders as the winner. Instead of throwing away the shirts of the losers, the National Football League donates the memorabilia to World Vision, an international evangelical relief and development organization working in 100 countries, and given to needy people around the world.

World Vision has similar deals with Major League Baseball, the NBA and the NHL, but football is the biggest generator of shirts.

Next month, a group of pro football players, including Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, will fly to Uganda to hand out shirts.
